The Perfect Candidate
Position will assume immediate responsibility to oversee the Accounting and Finance functions to ensure the organization’s financial integrity. This key position will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the Company’s goals and objectives are being achieved, and that future growth of the organization can be absorbed. Initial focus will be on auditing current accounting and establishing consistent reporting of key performance indicators across all departments.
Responsibilities:
- Present P&L/Balance Sheet and other reports on a weekly basis
- Merchants and bank relationships
- Cost savings analysis
- Budgeting
- Reconcile accounts
- Forecasting
- Senior financial advisor to the CEO
- Compensation analysis
- Manage contracts, leases, payment systems
- Identify opportunities to improve processes
- Evaluate new technologies related to accounting and finance
- Provide insights regarding key metrics that indicate the health of the organization
- Provide leadership to the organization as part of the senior management team
Required
- 5-7 years as the Controller for a small business or senior staff accountant for a larger business
- Significant experience in both finance and accounting disciplines
- Five years experience managing vendor/merchant relationships
- Bachelors Degree in finance or a related discipline
Highly Desirable
- Graduate degree in a related field
- Five to seven years experience as a VP or similar executive level
- Licensed CPA
